Regarding the measures taken to prevent the spread of the new variant SARS-CoV-2 virus in Turkey, the Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Public Health informs of the following:

-Persons, who in the last 10 days have been in the United Kingdom and Denmark, following their arrival in Turkey, will be quarantined for 10 days at their declared address of residence. The quarantine of those who are tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 test results on the 7th day of their quarantine will be terminated on the 7th day;

- It has been informed that requirement would continue for persons, who in the last 10 days have been in the Republic of South Africa and Brazil, following their arrival in Turkey, that they will be quarantined for 14 days in the locations determined by the governorships.
